ASCE Global Center of Excellence in Computing

	Open Meeting
	The ASCE Global Center of Excellence in Computing will take place during icccbe2010. Everybody is invited to our annual open meeting. Professor Tomasz Arciszewski (George Mason University, USA) will provide a brief overview of the Center’s mission and organization. Next, Professor Ian Smith (EPFL, Switzerland) will talk about our activities in the area of education, including the development of teaching modules available for downloading on our website (www.asceglobalcenter.org). Also, Professor Chimay Anumba (Pennsylvania State University, USA) will brief us about our planned workshop in Abuja, Nigeria. The last speaker, Professor Raymond Issa (University of Florida, USA) will talk about our activities in the area of international research. Finally, we will have a short discussion about our future activities.
